European Day of Languages
The European Day of Languages was celebrated in the Library on Monday 26th September. We had quizzes in French and word searches in German.
The Library also hosted a collection of international dolls, and there was a quiz to see which dolls were European.

Water Week 11th - 15th April
This week is Water Week in The High School, being run by the Green Schools' Committee. The Library is hosting a Water Poem Competition. Come into the Library to see our display of books and to collect a choice of water quizzes for some fun and brain stimulation.
Please get composing your prose - anything water related, from conservation to energy production, the beauty of water to it's many uses. Drop your poem into the Library anytime this week, 11th - 15th April.

World Book Day
World Book Day competition
We had plenty of contributions for the High School Library's World Book Day competition - "Design your own bookmark". There were some amazing entries, and choosing a winner was very difficult.
All bookmarks have been laminated and those pupils that submitted them are welcome to come into the Library and collect them when the summer term starts on April 4th.
Winners will be announced at the start of next term. Congratulations to all who entered and a very special congratulations to those who won.
