Space Week


The Library helped to celebrate Space Week, with book and poster displays, quizzes and word searches. Winners were selected at random, from those who handed in a completed quiz or word search. Winners received Mars Bars, Milky Ways and Galaxys!!


Banned Books

September 24 - 30th is Banned Books Week. The Library had a display of some books that were banned worldwide in 2016. Many of these are in The High School Library!

World Book Day

World Book Day Thursday 2nd March  Bring a Book, Buy a Book

World Book Day World Book Day is Thursday 2nd March. Come to the Library and take out your favourite book! Free book tokens also available - call to Ms Wiggle and she will give you a book token to take away.

Come up to the Library on World Book Day and join in the "Bring a Book, Buy a Book" - drop in a book you have finished with, and buy a new one for only €2! All monies collected are in aid of St. Michael's House, who provide services for people with intellectual disabilities. You might be able to pick up a bargain!!
